Corey J Wade chairs the Math Department at Berkeley Independent Study where he currently teaches AP Statistics and AP Calculus. In 2017, Wade received multiple grants to start Programming Power, a coding club supporting girls and underserved students to build websites (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and iPhone Apps (iOS/Swift). A former lecturer at Cal State East Bay and workshop instructor at the New College of California, Wade developed One Student, One Class to offer an innovative curriculum synthesizing mathematics and computer science for students in need of enrichment. In 2019, he taught Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Python) for Hello World at Khan Lab School.
